Pia Wurtzbach is set to make history as the first Miss Universe titleholder to headline Arab Fashion Week on March 24.

The 2015 Miss Universe will represent Dubai-based couture label AMATO's Fall 2022 fashion campaign. She will also be kicking off Arab Fashion Week's all-digital fashion show with a five-minute video titled "Inner Sanctum.”

Amato Couture is known for its ventures into avant-garde designs. Led by Filipino fashion designer, Furne One, AMATO has styled a variety of Hollywood personalities like Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and more.

In a teaser posted by Furne, we see Pia exploring the sands of Dubai donned in tattoos and AMATO pieces. The full video will premiere on March 24 on Arab Fashion Week's official Instagram and Facebook pages.

“The Middle East market is very close to my heart as I have been traveling to that part of the world. I am totally in love with the people and its culture," Pia shared in a statement.

"I am excited to see what I can do to connect and hopefully influence my community through all the works and activities lined up for me for the rest of the year.”

This wouldn't be the first time that Pia has made waves in the Middle East, as she did a 9-cover shoot for the January 2020 issue of Dubai luxury magazine, XPEDITION.
