Support community livelihood programs with Kultura’s Mask for a Cause
This June, show your support for local businesses through Kultura's Mask for a Cause promo.
Those who purchase the brand's face masks, which come in two flag-inspired styles, will be supporting Kultura's local partners. 20 percent of the total proceeds will be donated to partner foundations under Crafts for a Cause.
Through Crafts for a Cause, Kultura brings together products from its partner foundations, which empowers underprivileged members of society with the skills and resources to improve their quality of life.
This campaign also helps numerous communities through the 11 partner foundations: Bidibidi Enterprise, Gifts & Graces Fair Trade, Gkonomics International Inc., GreenEarth Heritage Foundation Inc., GTGB Trading, Jarque Trading, Kamay Krafts Multi-purpose Coop, Kababaihan ng Maynila Foundation, Sr. Teresa of Sto. Niño Center Inc., Sto. Rosario Multi-purpose Coop, and Mga Likha ni Inay, Inc.
Supporting local livelihood
Bidibidi Enterprise, one of the foundations supported by Crafts for a Cause, produces bags and accessories made from locally sourced materials like grass and abaca. These organic and durable items are a labor of love by the women from the rural areas of Camarines Sur.
Starting out as a small embroidery project in 1991, Kamay Krafts Multi-purpose Coop now has over 300 women in Manila creating stylish bags, tabletop covers, coasters, boxes, coasters, boxes, habi face masks, and other accessories.
Meanwhile, Mga Likha Ni Inay, Inc. helps local artisans and women in the rural areas of Laguna. It offers a variety of handicrafts, specialty food, home decors, colorful bags, and more.
Through Mask for a Cause, you can support Kultura's local partners and other home-grown MSMEs. Learn more about Kultura's MESME partners and advocacy at www.kulturafilipino.com/pages/advocacy.
