From a lounge room to a library: Here's what you'll find at Sunnies' biggest store ever
There's a new chic hangout spot in Pasay!
Sunnies is going beyond its specs and beauty products as it opens Sunnies World, a place to unwind, learn, and of course, shop.
This 500 sq. meter store, which served as Sunnies' biggest store ever, comprises "space-age and retro-futuristic" aesthetic places.
Shy Sarmiento, Sunnies' retail designer, told PhilSTAR L!fe that the thoughtfully designed space was based on the concept of education while incorporating a modern-day haven for exploration and relaxation.
"The place is inspired by places we lack here in the Philippines that include reading spaces and social spaces, in general," she said.
"We wanted to create like a unique space where everyone could come in, shop, read and relax and with that concept, it is enticed with the classical influences of architecture and interior in a way that that it's a mix of classical and modern-influences which is still Sunnies," she added.
This was also echoed by Eric Dee Jr., the co-founder of Sunnies, who stated that this Sunnies World MOA will give a glimpse of what the company is all about, especially to consumers who actually don't know Sunnies.
"This flagship store is very special because, for a consumer who actually doesn't know Sunnies, this space is for you because it gives you a peak through the Sunnies mind. Everything that we put in this place is something that we ourselves used, we ourselves get inspiration from, so this is what Sunnies is all about," he said to L!fe.
What's inside?
L!fe had a chance to explore the store and learn about the different things you can do at this new spot.
During your visit, you can sit and relax in their cozy lounge for unwinding.
For book lovers, the store has a reading room and a library where you can borrow classic novels and lifestyle magazines while sipping on a brew from the Sunnies coffee booth.
If you want some "me time," Sunnies World MOA also curated a set of playlists in their listening room.
You can also shop for the Sunnies World exclusive tote, which you can get embroidered in the personalization area.
Sunnies World also houses Sunnies Studio, where you can get eyewear crafted, Sunnies Face for your favorite beauty essentials, and Sunnies Flask, where you can build your dream drinking bottle.
With the new store's opening, Sunnies has pledged that 100% of sales from their MOA exclusive merch will benefit non-profit organization MovEd's Move-A-Child sponsorship program.
Sunnies World MOA is open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Level 3, Main Mall, Mall of Asia.
