Kathryn Bernardo tells Dolly de Leon: 'Consider me a friend you can count on'
Dolly de Leon has found a good friend in Kathryn Bernardo.
Dolly recently made a guest appearance in an episode of Magandang Buhay, in which she had a chance to hear some heartwarming messages from some of her closest friends in showbiz such as Iza Calzado, John Arcilla, Candy Pangilinan, Alessandra De Rossi, and more.
The last one to send her some sweet words was her A Very Good Girl co-star Kathryn, who highlighted that the veteran actress has long been looking out for her as they were doing their project together.
"It was a joy working with you. Grabe 'yung experience na ito because you were there for me since day one and I appreciate you so much at paulit-ulit ko 'yong sasabihin because 'yun ang pina-feel mo sa akin," she said.
Kathryn praised Dolly for contributing many things to her growth as an actress and even teased that they may have more collaborations soon.
"I learned so much from you Ms. D. Ang dami pa nating mga gagawin at mga bondings na gagawin soon. I am looking forward to that," she said.
She went on to emphasize how much value she puts on the friendship they have built.
"I just want you to know how much I appreciate our friendship, I will value it forever. I'm just one message away kapag kailangan mo ng pampa-relax at kailangan mo ng pampa-happy nandito lang ako parati to make you happy. Consider me as your friend in this industry na you can count on," Kathryn said.
"Congratulations in advance sa movie natin I am happy na nagawa ko ito kasama ka," she ended.
Dolly similarly had nothing but praises for Kathryn as she recounted her experience working with her during the production of A Very Good Girl.
"Kasi si Kath 'di ba she's a really big star so medyo nakaka-intimidate siya. Pero wala siya nung kung ano ang mga iniisip ko tungkol sa kanya at all. Approachable siya friendly, very supportive and helpful at saka generous actor. Super sweet. I love her as in sobra, grabe," she said.
The upcoming dark comedy mystery film marks the second time that the two of them will share a screen together. They first met when they were both cast in GMA's TV adaptation of the Korean series Endless Love back in 2010, where Kathryn played the young Marian Rivera while Dolly was her class teacher.
