‘You are so beautiful’: Batangas Vice Gov. Mark Leviste goes to US for Kris Aquino’s birthday
Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste flew to the United States to visit Kris Aquino on her birthday, which is also Valentine’s Day.
The politician shared a video of their reunion on Tuesday, Feb. 14 with Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years playing in the background. In the clip, he can be seen walking to Kris’ car along with the latter’s son Bimby. Upon seeing Kris again, Mark told her: “You are so beautiful.”
“Distance is just a test to see how far love can travel,” he wrote in the caption of his post—the exact quote that Kris posted on Instagram a day before their reunion. At the time, the latter wrote about a mystery man, saying that “you need to be a very determined man of your word to fly 13 hours each way to spend a few days with me on my birthday.” Kris is currently in the US to get treatment for her multiple autoimmune diseases.
Mark had a sweet message for Kris as he greeted her a Happy Birthday and a Happy Valentine’s Day in a separate post. “It may have taken more than 7k miles to be with you, but I wouldn’t have it any other way,” he said.
“Although we have been apart, now that we’re together fills my heart. It is for this reason my love and my dear you will always and forever feel near.”
“Happy Birthday to you and Happy Valentine’s Day to us,” he continued.
In January, the politician visited Kris to welcome 2023 together. He fondly called her the “Queen” in their Instagram snaps, where he can be seen enjoying a meal with Kris and bonding with her sons Josh and Bimby.
Romance speculations between the two started brewing in 2019. At the time, Mark reached out to Kris when she wrote an Instagram post asking single men aged 41 to 55 to add her on Facebook.
Mark was up to the challenge and commented: "Looking for someone single, aged 41?”
"Not 'looking' but I look forward to getting to know you better and befriending you," Kris replied.
"Fair enough. Something to look forward to," he responded.
