Former beauty queen Steffi Aberasturi announces pregnancy
Miss Universe Philippines 2021 2nd runner-up Steffi Aberasturi is expecting her first child with her husband, Karl Arcenas.
The former beauty queen announced the good news in a short video compilation of themselves in different places while reading a newspaper that read, “Karl & Steffi are going to be parents,” and “A baby is coming soon.”
She captioned the post in a Bridgerton-inspired announcement, “Dearest gentle readers, the ton are abuzz with the latest gossip, and so it is my honor to impart to you the news that Lady Steffi Aberasturi-Arcenas has revealed that she is with a child.”
“The besotted couple are happily looking forward to their future and their expanding family that will now be made the most respectable number of 3,” it added.
Steffi also greeted her husband, “Happy 11 years” in the same post.
Fellow beauty queens and celebrities poured their congratulatory messages in the post’s comments section.
“Omgggg. Congratulations!!!” Miss Supranational 2023 1st runner-up Pauline Amelinckx wrote.
“Awwwww congratulations gwapa!!!” MJ Lastimosa commented.
“Yiiiieeee Congrats!!!!” GMA artist Sanya Lopez also commented.
Steffi and Karl got engaged in January 2022; The following month, she officially bid goodbye to pageantry.
“Every end is a new beginning. As I close this chapter, looking forward to the bright unknown ahead, I am following my true desires with new goals and priorities,” she previously wrote.
They officially tied the knot in December of the same year.
