‘Snowdrop’ star Park Soo Ryun passes away at 29
Korean star Park Soo Ryun has passed away. She was 29.
According to K-entertainment site Allkpop, her family confirmed the news in a statement on Monday, June 12, saying that she died after falling down the stairs on her way home. She was in a coma before her death.
Soompi, another entertainment portal in Korea, reported that her family agreed to donate her organs after her passing. “Only her brain is unconscious, and her heart is still beating. There must be someone who desperately needs [organs],” the actress’ mother said.
“As her mother and father, we will be able to live comforted [by the thought that her heart] has gone to someone and is beating,” she continued.
Her funeral wake will be held at the Suwon Hospital of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center in Jangan-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do.
Soo Ryun appeared in the hit K-drama series Snowdrop. She made her debut in the entertainment scene at the creative musical Il Tenore in 2018. She also starred in other plays like Finding Kim Jong Wook, Passing Through Love, Siddhartha, and The Day We Loved.
