Millie Bobby Brown has something to say to people's comments about her fluctuating accent.

In an interview with internet personality Max Balegde on TikTok, the Damsel actress, who has been moving from the United States and England, opened up about the criticisms she gets about the way she talks.

"I'm an actor. I grew up in the public eye. I grew up in America. I come to set and I'm an actor and I adapt, and so I want to mimic other people," she told Max.

The Stranger Things alum's accent became a topic of discussion after she did an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon wherein she's heard speaking more with an American accent.

"Her British accent is barely there anymore. I know she's been in America for a long time now but it used to be so strong," one user on YouTube commented.

Millie answered comments like this by saying that she mimics the accents of people she's talking to.

"I can't help that when I'm around my fiancé, or when I'm with people like Jimmy Fallon who have a very American accent, I wanna replicate it!" she said.

"And now I'm in England, I wanna replicate that [accent]! I don't do it [intentionally], and I'm sorry if it offends you, okay? But listen, I'm trying my best! I'm trying my best."
