The Eras era is officially over. Just how much did Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour make over its nearly two-year run?

The long and the short of it: two billion dollars and change.

Swift's production company told The New York Times that her record-breaking tour sold a total of $2,077,618,725 (P120.4 billion) in tickets. It's double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.

The figure didn't include merchandise sales and money made from reselling of tickets.

Last August, Billboard reported that rock band Coldplay earned a record $1 billion (P57.9 billion) in ticket sales for its 156-date Music of the Spheres World Tour. After Swift's disclosure, it's shown to be just half of her total for a similar stretch of shows in stadiums and arenas.

All dates of The Eras Tour were sold out.

A total of 10,168,008 people attended the concerts, according to Swift's touring company. The biggest single night was in Melbourne, Australia last Feb. 16, with 96,006 people in attendance. Her eight-night show at Wembley Stadium in London, meanwhile, drew 753,112 people.

Swift announced The Eras Tour in November last year, describing it as a journey through the musical eras of her career thus far. The first leg of the tour kicked off in Arizona's State Farm Stadium in March 2023. It marked its 149th and final show on Dec. 8 in Canada.

The tour, which has become the biggest thing in recent music history, engulfed pop culture, dominated news coverage, and boosted local economies worldwide.
