'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' becomes most watched music film on Disney+ with nearly 5 million views
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour just became the most-watched music film on Disney+ after garnering nearly 5 million views less than a week since its release.
According to a report by Deadline, the concert film garnered a total of 4.6 million views, landing in the top spot on the most-watched music film ever on the platform.
For this version, the over 3-hour long Eras Tour featured performances of cardigan and acoustic songs Maroon, Death by a Thousand Cuts, You Are in Love, and I Can See You.
As per the studio, the viewership numbers are based on three days of streaming. Swifties watched a total of 16.2 million hours of the record-breaking hit concert film from the past weekend.
Taylor Swift: Eras Tour premiered in cinemas in the Philippines and worldwide on Oct. 13, 2023. It earned more than $261.6 million, beating Michael Jackson's This is It, which grossed $261.2 million at the global box office.
The documentary also earned a nomination for the Golden Globes’ inaugural Cinematic and Box Office Achievement prize but lost to Barbie.
