Andrea Brillantes makes it to the Top 20 of 'The 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2023'
2023 was a news-making year for actress Andrea Brillantes. And now, just before 2024 arrives, she closes the year on a stunning note by making it to the Top 20 of "The 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2023."
According to the list released by TC Candler and the Independent Critics, Andrea landed on the 16th spot, after South Korean singer and actress Nana.
The local star was followed by South Korean singer Jeon Somi, Paraguayan fashion model Nadia Ferreira, Japanese idol Nana Owada, and South Korean singer Charyeong.
Topping the list is MOMOLAND member Nancy McDonie, followed by Russian model Dasha Taran and TWICE member Sana for second and third place respectively.
This would be the first time that Andrea had placed on the list. While she was the only Filipina to make it to the Top 20 rankings, four other celebrities from the country were recognized for their beauty.
These include Ivana Alawi in the 21st spot, Liza Soberano in the 28th spot, Janine Gutierrez in the 45th spot, and Belle Mariano in the 71st spot. The new ranking marks Liza's ninth appearance in the list, while this would be Belle's first entry.
Meanwhile, SB19's Ken and Josh were recognized in the "100 Most Handsome Faces of 2023" list, taking the 34th and 71st spots respectively. Kyler and Reyster of HORI7ON also made it to the 27th and 58th place.
Actor Timothée Chalamet reigned supreme in the list, followed by Henry Cavill and Hong Kong singer and actor Keung To.
The annual list by Independent Critics and TC Candler started back in 1990. According to their website, the members judge who goes into the list based on "aesthetic perfection, grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, and hope."
