Liza Soberano no longer with James Reid's label Careless

Liza Soberano is no longer being managed by Careless—the talent agency and music label founded by James Reid.

Careless confirmed the news in an Instagram story on Saturday, Sept. 14, saying the actress has not been with them since July 29.

"It has been a pleasure to have represented her and we wish her all the best in all of her endeavors," it added.

This comes over two years after Liza officially became part of Careless. She joined the management in June 2022.

At a media conference, Liza expressed her excitement to work with the company as it's been known for keeping their artists inspired by giving them "creative freedom and control"—two things she said she was looking for as she rises to greater heights in the entertainment industry.

James, at the time, described Liza as a “talented actress with an amazing voice that she has been hiding from everyone.” 

“She has an eye for fashion. She has a deep understanding [of] pop culture which is incredible and she really is a force to be reckoned with so we are excited for everything we’re doing in the Philippines and overseas as well,” he continued as he thanked Liza for trusting his agency.  

Rumors in line with their falling-out began earlier this month, when eagle-eyed social media users noticed that Liza is no longer following Careless on Instagram.

Before Careless, Liza was under the care of talent manager Ogie Diaz for 11 years.
