LOOK: Liza Soberano signs with international entertainment company WILD
Liza Soberano marked a new chapter in her career as she joined the global entertainment company WILD.
On Oct. 1, the label warmly welcomed the Lisa Frankenstein star on its official Instagram account.
“We’re so happy to welcome the talented Filipino-American actress Liza Soberano to our WILD family,” the caption read.
Founded in South Korea, WILD is a global entertainment company managed by CEO Leonard Lim.
The label features a diverse global talent pool such as actors, singers, hosts, content creators, and more, including Tasha Low, Jam Republic, Sorn, among many others.
Before joining WILD, Liza was managed by Careless Music, a record label founded by fellow actor James Reid, who confirmed her departure last September after weeks of speculations.
James said in a recent interview with Ogie Diaz that Liza personally decided to leave his talent agency, emphasizing that they have different career paths.
"I [think] mas focus siya sa career sa L.A., kami mas focus sa Philippines, with my music career. I'm going back to acting so we had different career paths I think and she has her own co-management sa L.A., Transparent Arts and she's really focused there so it didn't really make sense for us," he said.
"We wish her all the best with her career in L.A. with all of her international projects, everything she's doing and you know I just wanted her to know na may babalikan siya dito sa Pilipinas," James added.
Prior to Careless, Liza was under the care of talent manager Ogie Diaz for 11 years.
