LOOK: Sandara Park's younger sister makes TV appearance for the first time in 20 years

Sandara Park's younger sister, Park Durami, made a surprise appearance on television for the first time in 20 years. 

The siblings recently had a rare TV interaction on the Korean TV show Lovers of Joseon, where Sandara and Durami visited their brother, Thunder, former member of MBLAQ, and his wife, Mimi of the disbanded group Gugudan in the recording studio. 

Dara introduced her younger sibling as she noted that it was her first TV appearance after 20 years on a KBS’ Human Theater episode in 2004. 

“She hasn't been active on broadcasts until now, but she came for the sake of our youngest sibling,” she added. 

During their dinner, the group had an emotional moment when Dara gave wedding gifts to the couple. 

“I got you matching watches from Cartier, because Cartier is the most popular brand among soon-to-get-married couples,” she explained, as translated by SBS.  

"A lot of people think that Thunder is lucky for having a big sister who takes care of him at all times. But I never helped you two with your wedding," she tearfully said.  

"You and Mimi organized everything by yourselves without my help. I'm proud of you guys for that,” she continued. “I'm also so sorry about that."  

Durami is the only one of the Park siblings who didn’t pursue a career in showbiz. Prior to this, she had public exposure from shared photos taken at Thunder and Mimi’s engagement shoot in November 2023. 

The couple continued their music career as a duo called "CATtRIEVER." They recently released a single dubbed 5/26.
