Jennifer Lopez marks first wedding anniversary with Ben Affleck by teasing lyrics of new song
It's been a year since Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck took their rekindled love to the altar and officially became husband and wife.
To celebrate their first anniversary of being together, Jennifer took to her Instagram account to delight her followers with some never-before-seen pictures from their Georgia wedding ceremony.
"One year ago today," the actress and singer captioned the photo showing Ben carrying her in his arms in their wedding outfits. Another picture also captured them sharing a kiss under a wooden arch at night, with fireworks lighting up the sky in the background.
Jennifer also teased some of the lyrics from her upcoming song Dear Ben Pt. II.
"Dear Ben, Sitting here alone, Looking at my ring ring, Feeling overwhelmed. It makes me wanna sing sing. How did we end up here, Without a rewind. Oh my, This is my life…," she wrote.
The song is a follow-up to the singer-actress's 2002 single Dear Ben, which was considered a profession of the singer's love for Affleck to the media. Dear Ben Pt. II will be one of the 13 tracks of Lopez’s upcoming album This Is Me...Now, an updated take on her 2002 album, This Is Me...Then.
Many of the celebrity couple's fans flooded the comments section with their heartiest congratulations.
"I love you both so much!! I have been rooting for you since day one when you were together the first time. Soul mates for sure and the way you laugh together," one user wrote.
Another one commented, "Happy anniversary to the couple who proves that dreams someday come true."
Jennifer and Ben first met on the set of the 2003 romantic comedy crime film Gigli. Collectively known as "Bennifer," the two got engaged in 2002 but broke up afterward. However, their failed romance ignited once again almost two decades later.
They had their first spontaneous wedding in Las Vegas on July 16 last year. A month later, the pair held their second wedding at Affleck's gorgeous mansion in Georgia.
