BLACKPINK’s Lisa teases solo comeback
Lisa of BLACKPINK is making her comeback as a solo artist after three years!
The K-pop idol teased her upcoming project in her Instagram stories by sharing a poster that read: “Coming soon: LISA.”
It came with a pre-save option on Spotify and a pre-add option on Apple Music.
Further details about her solo comeback are yet to be announced.
This would mark her first individual release since she debuted her solo career three years ago with the album LALISA, featuring her hit singles Lalisa and Money. It came out in September 2021.
Lisa is part of BLACKPINK, which debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment. They’re best known for their hit songs How You Like That, Kill This Love, Shut Down, and Typa Girl, among others.
Its members have made their solo debuts in previous years, with Jennie debuting with a single dubbed Solo in November 2018, while Lisa and Rosé released their solo music in 2021 with LALISA and On the Ground, respectively. Jisoo, meanwhile, made her solo debut in March this year with a single album dubbed ME, which includes tracks Flower and All Eyes On Me.
