Moira Dela Torre reveals she recently communicated with estranged husband Jason Hernandez

Moira Dela Torre revealed she recently got in touch with her ex-husband Jason Hernandez about processing certain papers and “moving forward without bitterness” following their separation. 

In a video posted by Sun Star Davao on TikTok, the singer-songwriter can be seen opening up about her recent interaction with Jason without getting into much detail.

“We were talking about papers. We were both talking about how God can turn things around even if it’s not what we thought it would look like,” the Malaya singer said during her recently concluded Davao show.

“That we can actually move forward without bitterness, even if it’s not how we planned it. A lot like this song,” she added, introducing her song, Rewritten Vows, which she said seemed “a lot different a couple of years ago.” 

In his Instagram stories in June, Jason revealed that they are in the process of finalizing their annulment as he shut down dating rumors with a “mystery girl” he previously posted on his social media pages. He later clarified that she was just an actress who starred in his music video for Ikaw Pa Rin.  

“I don’t have a girlfriend because I am technically still married, and of course I won’t have one while my annulment has not been finalized yet,” he said at the time.

Moira and Jason dated in 2017 and officially got married in 2019.

The musicians announced their split in May 2022, with Jason admitting that he had been “unfaithful to her [Moira] during [their] marriage.”
