Ikaw Pa Rin: Moira Dela Torre's ex Jason Hernandez drops new music video with their wedding clips
Jason Hernandez, the estranged husband of Moira Dela Torre, on May 24 just released a new music video containing clips from their wedding ceremony—days ahead of their controversial breakup's anniversary.
In Hernandez's Ikaw Pa Rin, the persona is already in a new relationship, yet cannot help but long for his former partner as he expresses his deep regrets.
The nearly five-minute music video shows him traveling in the United States with another woman, whose face can be barely seen. But the money shots were the snippets from Hernandez and Dela Torre's wedding in 2019, including her walking down the aisle, their exchange of vows, and him kissing her forehead.
Weeks leading to the release of Ikaw Pa Rin, Hernandez made the rounds online as he shared a photo of a mystery woman wrapping her arms around him. (This woman turned out to be his co-star in the music video.)
In another post days later, Hernandez posted a photo with the mystery woman with the caption, "Siya ang nagligtas sa 'kin, ang nagbalik ng aking ngiti." This turned out to be the first two lines of Ikaw Pa Rin.
On May 31 last year, Hernandez announced "with a heavy heart" that he and Dela Torre are "parting ways." He admitted to being "unfaithful" to her during their marriage.
The following June 3 that year, Dela Torre stressed that while her marriage with Hernandez "was not perfect, she "stayed true" to her vows and "never cheated" on him. Some netizens came up with wild speculations about the couple's breakup, and Dela Torre said it "hurts to see fabricated stories" being told about them.
Dela Torre has since been mum about her dysfunctional marriage with Hernandez, even as she's focusing on her music career.
