Natalie Portman split from Benjamin Millepied after 11 years of marriage—report

Natalie Portman has reportedly separated from Benjamin Millepied, her husband of 11 years, amid affair rumors involving the latter.

According to an exclusive report by Us Weekly, an insider confirmed that they are "currently on the outs" after speculations about Benjamin having a 25-year-old mistress circulated on social media.

“Natalie believes Benjamin’s affair was a brief and stupid liaison that means nothing to him,” the source told the media outlet.

While the actress felt "humiliated" by the news, she was "willing to see if she's capable of rebuilding her trust" so that their children—Aleph, 12 and Amalia, 6—won't "grow up in a broken home."

Another insider told Us Weekly that Natalie "didn’t know whether she and her husband would be able to rebuild their relationship following the scandal." They are now "talking and working on it together" for the sake of their family.

The Hollywood star was spotted at a public event on Aug. 4 without her wedding ring.

The two met in 2009 during the production of the 2010 thriller Black Swan, where Natalie starred as the lead while Benjamin took care of the choreography. They announced their engagement in late 2010 and got married in 2012.
