Henry Golding welcomes second child with wife Liv Lo

Henry Golding and his wife, Liv Lo, have just welcomed their baby no. 2. 

In an Instagram post on Oct. 11, the Malaysian-British actor and his TV host wife shared a video of their family’s journey from her pregnancy to after giving birth to the child. 

 “The journey of childbirth is full of its ups and downs, but glorious none the other,” Liv Lo wrote in the caption. 

The video showed highlights of the baby’s birth, such as Henry cutting the umbilical cord and their first daughter, Lyla, getting a first look at her baby sister. 

The yoga instructor shared that she gave birth to her second daughter, Florence Likan Golding, a day after her due date on Sept. 9. 

“In 3 pushes Florence Likan Golding was born at 7lbs at 9:03 am on 9/9/23,” she wrote in her blog on her fitness website.  

Liv Lo also shared her struggles after giving birth. She woke up with an “extreme pain in her ribs” after resting and she had a fever that night.  

“The nurse came and confirmed that the full results from the blood cultures tests had come back early confirming that I had a blood infection–therefore I wouldn’t be discharged,” she said.  

“The scans showed that my gallbladder was functioning and wouldn’t have to be removed. With the right antibiotics, I would make a full recovery,” she added.  

Liv Lo then assured that she has now recovered and able to take care of her daughters well.  

“In this chapter, now 3 weeks out, I am so grateful to be able to take walks, pick up my 2.5-year-old again, and breastfeed fully,” she said. 

Liv Lo and Henry got married in Malaysia on August 2016 after five years of being together. They welcomed their first born almost five year later, in March 2021.
