Charee Pineda mourns loss of second baby 5 months into pregnancy
Charee Pineda revealed she recently suffered a miscarriage in her second pregnancy.
The former actress-politician took to Instagram on Monday, May 27 to mourn the loss of her unborn baby girl, Christiana.
“At 22 weeks and 1 day, our baby's heart stopped beating. Our hearts were shattered but it surely made our faith stronger,” she wrote. In the carousel post, Charee shared a quote and photos with her son Cesco and husband.
“We may not know why it had to happen but we trust that the Lord has better plans and all we can do is to let go and surrender,” she added. “I know in my heart we will see you again, my love.”
“For now, enjoy your time in heaven along with all the angels. We love you so much our baby, Christiana. We can't wait to have you back in our arms in His time,” she concluded her post.
Fans and celebrities including Jason Abalos, Sue Ramirez, and Melissa Ricks extended their messages of support to the bereaved family.
“I love you Ate! Yakap na mahigpit,” Sue wrote.
“[S]o sorry sending hugs...Sending love and prayers your way,” Melissa commented.
Former actress and politician Shalani Soledad also wrote, “Love you, Tell & Cheko bear! Big tight hug!!”
Charee starred in the Filipino teleserye Angelito: Batang Ama and was also a part of shows Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka, Mula Sa Puso, and teen sitcom Let’s Go!
Apart from her showbiz stint, she served as councilor of Valenzuela City from 2013 to 2022.
She married her longtime partner, politician Martell Soledad in 2020 and in the same year welcomed their firstborn, Martell Francesco.
