Kris Aquino bares son Bimby has to work due to her medical bills
Kris Aquino shared that her son Bimby may need to go back to the Philippines to work as her medical bills are "getting higher & higher."
The TV host bared the plans as she replied to Cornerstone artist handler Cristine Calawod's comment on her recent health update.
"Love you madam! [Be] well[.] We are all praying for you!" Cristine wrote.
Kris then told the artist handler that her son Bimby might be returning to the Philippines soon.
"Bimb might go home after my birthday. He needs to work because my medical bills are already getting higher & higher," the Queen of All Media replied.
The host also gave a glimpse of what she'll be like as a stage mom. "The stage mom is already saying NO to a name change. He'll stay as Bimb. No last name, like Drake," Kris said.
In June 2023, Cornerstone Entertainment shared a photo of a meeting with the 16-year-old with Boy Abunda standing as his guardian. "Exciting days are truly ahead for the young star," they wrote. Boy later said that this was an "explanatory meeting" to explore what he could do in the showbiz industry.
On Jan. 21, Kris shared a health update where she said her battle was "becoming more complex" as she started showing symptoms of another autoimmune connective tissue disease which she said is likely an initial stage of lupus.
"I promised my sons & my sisters—I won't be a wimp. And I'm promising all my friends plus all who continue to pray for me: Bawal sumuko, tuloy pa rin ang laban," she said.
The TV icon is battling five other autoimmune diseases which she's getting treatment for at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Her son Bimby has been staying with her while she undergoes tests and treatment.
