Despite sharing that her health situation has become complex, Kris Aquino amused social media users as she offered to play matchmaker to Carla Abellana.
On Jan. 21, the Queen of All Media posted three Instagram Reels about how she started showing symptoms of another autoimmune disease.
Celebrities like Ogie Diaz, Angeline Quinto, Pokwang, Carmina Villarroel-Legaspi, and Carla Abellana commented their recovery wishes for Kris, and Carla got a reply that Filipino users did not see coming.
"Prayers for you, Ms. Kris," the Black Rider actress wrote.
"If you're already in the process of getting annulled[,] we have a doctor friend based in [Orange County] who might be a great match," the TV host replied.
This amused social media users, with Kris' reply earning 1,186 replies as of writing.
"Great [matchmaker] talaga si [Miss Kris] kahit noon pa," one user commented.
"Ms. Kris, me too, maybe you know someone who's a great match for me," another quipped.
"Kris lines never get old," added another user.
After six years of being together, Carla married actor Tom Rodriguez in October 2021 with the latter announcing their divorce in June 2022. The actress would later say that she regretted marrying the actor but has forgiven him since.
A year after her divorce, the actress revealed that while she no longer wants to get married again, she won't entirely shut down the possibility of romantic relationships.
"Di ko siya pipilitin, di ko siya hahanapin, pero kung dumating, welcome siya sa akin," she said in July 2023.
