Korean actress Cha Chung Hwa expecting first child
Cha Chung Hwa, one of our favorite scene stealers in K-dramas, is going to be a mom.
Korean entertainment site Soompi reported late Wednesday, Jan. 24 that her agency, IOK Entertainment, confirmed her pregnancy. "Cha Chung Hwa is pregnant," they told STARNEWS without revealing her expected date of delivery.
"It is difficult to disclose details about the actress' personal life," they added.
This comes three months after her wedding with her non-showbiz husband in October.
Cha Chung Hwa debuted in the acting industry in 2005 through the musical Backstreet Story. She's known for her "Marites" roles in hit K-dramas like Crash Landing On You, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Itaewon Class, The Fiery Priest, and Mr. Queen, among others.
The 43-year-old star's recently appeared in Song of the Bandits and See You in My 19th Life starring Shin Hye-sun and Ahn Bo-hyun.
