‘End of a love story’: Kim Chiu confirms breakup with Xian Lim after 12-year relationship

Kim Chiu has confirmed her breakup with Xian Lim after months of speculations.
Sharing photos of her with Xian on Instagram, the actress began by saying it’s “the end of a love story.”
The actress said the split was a mutual decision, adding that they hope to transition their relationship into a "lifelong" friendship.
After expressing her gratitude to their followers for their love and support, Kim asked the public to “give [them] the privacy [they] need as [they] begin new chapters of [their] lives.”
She also gave a special message to her ex-boyfriend. “Lastly, to Xi, Thank you for the almost 12 years of beautiful memories together one can never imagine.”
“You will always have a place in my heart. Thank you for showing me what love is,” she said.
Rumors that she and Xian have called it quits started when social media users noticed that she went on a solo trip in October.
Kim and Xian, known as KimXi, began dating in 2012. It wasn't until 2018, however, that they made their relationship public.
