Beauty queen Patch Magtanong and Joshua Cordoves get engaged in Amsterdam
It’s a yes from the beauty queen!
Bb. Pilipinas International 2019 and lawyer, Bea Patricia “Patch” Magtanong, is now engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Josh Cordoves.
The couple took to Instagram to announce the big news, completing the post with their sweet moments together in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
"They say deciding on a life partner is difficult, thank you for making it easy for me,” Magtanong and Cordoves wrote on the joint post.
Fellow beauty queen Nicole Cordoves, Joshua's elder sister, proudly congratulated the couple by posting their picture showing the engagement ring on Patch's finger.
"Welcome to our crazy family, @patchmag! Bawal na mag back-out forever!" Nicole quipped.
"I have so much to say and so many things to be grateful for, but I’ll save it for the wedding (including the tears!" she added. "You might be all grown up, but you’ll always be my baby brother. Love you both."
Other queens also sent out their regards to the lovers including Hannah Arnold, Samantha Bernardo, and Jehza Huelar.
The 28-year-old former beauty queen is now a practicing lawyer who once represented the country in Japan in Bb. Pilipinas and landed as one of the top 8 finalists in the 2019 run of the pageant.
She passed the Bar Exam in 2018 and took her oath in June of 2019 shortly after the competition.
