Nadine Lustre trends online after her name got involved in Alex Gonzaga-Dina Bonnevie issue
Nadine Lustre landed on Twitter’s list of trending topics after her name got involved in the viral issue between Alex Gonzaga and Dina Bonnevie.
The veteran actress briefly mentioned Nadine’s name as she confirmed in a Jan. 31 episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that she was referring to Alex when she talked about her encounter with an “unprofessional” co-worker.
Aside from being tardy on set, Dina shared that Alex had a hard time crying for some scenes in their previous teleserye and recalled one moment when the latter got mad at her co-star Nadine, who was able to let out some tears ahead of her.
“Nagagalit siya kay Nadine kung nauunang umiyak si Nadine, eh eksena niya raw ‘yun,” said Dina.
She also told Alex at some point: "Alex, you know why you cannot cry, [it's] because you're not in touch with your emotions. You're very indifferent to your co-workers."
While she has remained tight-lipped about the matter, Nadine has been trending on Twitter Philippines since the release of the interview. "Nadine" has garnered over 17,000 tweets and memes as of this writing.

“Never mess with the showbiz vets who grew up in the business,” a netizen said.
“There’s a reason Nadine Lustre is an award-winning actress,” another one tweeted, noting that Nadine has bagged Best Actress titles from prestigious award shows like FAMAS, Gawad Urian, and MMFF.
Some Twitter users, meanwhile, said that the issue seems to have gotten out of hand. “Grabe naman yung galit ni Dina Bonnevie kay Alex. Hindi matapos-tapos yung galit niya,” one said.
The issue between Alex and Dina was revived in December 2022 when Alex recounted her “traumatic” experience with her senior co-star in her podcast. At the time, the vlogger recalled how a veteran actress scolded her when she was in her early 20s because she came in late for work.
While she did not identify the seasoned star then, netizens pointed their fingers at Dina, who said in a 2018 interview that she scolded a young actress and “gave her hell” because of the latter’s tardiness and work ethic.
The two worked together in the TV show P.S. I Love You along with Nadine, Gabby Concepcion, Kean Cipriano, among others in 2011.
