‘Business Proposal’ star Kim Min-gue to enlist in the military in April
Kim Min-gue is set to enlist in the military as an active-duty soldier in April.
His agency, Companion Company announced on Wednesday, March 20 via his official fan cafe, as reported by South Korean media outlet Soompi.
“We would like to thank the fans who always give generous support and love to actor Kim Min Kyu (also spelled as Kim Min-gue), and we would like to inform you about actor [his] enlistment,” the statement began.
The Korean actor will enlist as an active-duty soldier on April 1. The agency also added that there will be no official events on the enlistment date to “prevent safety incidents due to congestion on site.”
“We ask for fans’ love and support so that actor Kim Min Kyu can diligently complete his mandatory military service and return to a more mature and healthy state,” they concluded.
Min-gue recently starred in the series The Heavenly Idol with Ko Bo-gyeol. He was also part of the hit series Business Proposal, Backstreet Rookie, Because This Is My First Life, and Queen: Love and War.
He recently visited the Philippines for his first-ever fan meet in April 2023.
