Hugh Jackman trends online after sending love to Hyunjin of K-pop group ‘Stray Kids’
Could it be that the incredible Hugh Jackman also has his K-pop fever on?
The Wolverine star made the rounds online with a single comment in an Instagram post by Hyunjin—the frontman of K-pop group Stray Kids—who recently shared a timelapse of his painting process using oil on canvas.
Hugh was among those who were left in awe of the singer’s creativity and talent. “An amazing artist you are,” he wrote in the comment thread, which has received over 100,000 likes and almost 2,000 replies as of this writing.
His simple remark got K-pop fans freaking out in the comment section, with some saying they are “living for this interaction.”
“What is this international crossover?” an Instagram user said.
“Bro, get in line,” someone commented.
“Hugh is a Stay!” another one said, referring to the group’s fanbase name.
There were also some who simply seconded Hugh’s comment. Others, seemingly speechless, had nothing else to say but “OMG.”
Stray Kids, which consists of eight members namely Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N., debuted in March 2018 under JYP Entertainment. Their hit songs include MANIAC, Thunderous, Charmer, VENOM, and God's Menu.
On top of being the boy band's lead vocalist, Hyunjin is also a songwriter and actor.
Hugh, meanwhile, is best known for his fictional character James “Logan” Howlett or Wolverine in the hit superhero film series X-Men.
