For Christmas, Janna Dominguez gives away nebulizers in honor of late 20-year-old daughter

Filipino actress Janna Dominguez has started giving away nebulizers as Christmas gifts, in honor of her late daughter Yzabel, who died of sudden heart failure and lung infection at 20.

In an Instagram post on Dec. 24, Dominguez shared a clip of a box containing nebulizers, which she partially opened. The camera zooms into the items as she arranges them.

“Just in time for Christmas,” she said in the caption. “[Will] be sending your gift nebulizers from Ate Yzabel Ablan today.”

According to the American Lung Association, a nebulizer is “a device that turns the liquid medicine into a mist which is then inhaled through a mouthpiece or a mask.”

Those with asthma, a chronic lung disease in which one’s airways get narrow and swollen, may use nebulizers to manage their condition.

Last Dec. 9, Dominguez told her Instagram followers she’s giving away nebulizers “to continue Yza's legacy” and “help those in need” in time for the holidays. She noted that it’s their own little way of making Yza “very happy” though they cannot give her a gift anymore.

“Yzabel may be gone physically but her heart and legacy will live forever,” Dominguez wrote in the post. She then asked those who needed the nebulizer to comment and send proof.

Yzabel was the daughter of Dominguez’s partner, mixed martial artist Mickey Ablan, from a previous relationship.

Dominguez and Ablan have three children together.
