Maggie Wilson stresses she has 'always wanted peace' since split with Victor Consunji
Maggie Wilson emphasized she has "always wanted peace" since her separation from businessman Victor Consunji, revealing she has tried to settle things with him on "numerous occasions" in private, but to no avail.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Sept. 28, the TV host mentioned that nine cases have been filed against her and her lifestyle company ACASA by her ex-husband and his firm VCDC as well as the latter's current girlfriend Rachel Carrasco and her business partner since June 2022.
"People ask why can't she (me) move on. I walked away in 2021, and I walked away peacefully," she wrote.
While it's a given that things can be quite challenging for every couple who decides to end a long-term relationship at first, Wilson stressed she has "always wanted peace."
"I have always wanted to co-parent. In fact, I wanted things to be friendly, amicable, and blended," she said, adding that it's still the same to this day as she and Consunji share a son named Connor.
Wilson said she and her rumored boyfriend Tim Connor have tried to get in touch with Consunji, his family, and Carrasco several times privately, "all of which have fallen on deaf ears."
"They have our numbers and can call us anytime to talk things through. Instead, we have been blocked, bombarded with cases, harassed, and received threats," she said.
Wilson added that they may "seem quiet" on social media, but it "doesn't mean they aren't doing anything to us offline to make our lives difficult."
Amid the struggles she's facing at the moment, the local personality highlighted that she will continue to use her voice to fight for justice. "I will be vocal. They may try to bend me, but I will never break."
"I will always fight for what is right and fair. Whether you are rich or poor, male, female, or part of the LGBTQ+ community, it doesn't and shouldn't matter," she added.
In her Instagram stories on the same day, she said, "If anything happens to me, [Tim Connor], or my family members, you know where to look."
Her statements came a few days after a supposed smear campaign against her and her business went viral on social media.
On Sept. 26, Wilson shared photos of TikTok accounts that used a particular screenshot in their videos, as they aired supposed grievances over Acasa.
The screenshot bears the icon of Carrasco, who Wilson accused of paying influencers to attack her.
"The timestamps on those screenshots were all the same," she said. "The script is the same."
Wilson shared screenshots of alleged group chats containing an P8,000 offer for users with a huge following online. She also shared the apology videos of some of the content creators in question, supposedly admitting that what they previously said is false and that they got paid for it.
Carrasco has yet to react to Wilson's pronouncements.
Last Sept. 23, Wilson also talked about an alleged theft in Acasa, and how an "ex" is supposedly attempting to bankrupt her.
Wilson announced her separation from Consunji in 2021 after 11 years of marriage. The two have since aired their dirty laundry on social media, including filing cases and warrants of arrest.
