Maggie Wilson to take legal action vs. influencers involved in smear campaign against company
Maggie Wilson is calling on those who are involved in a supposed smear campaign against her lifestyle company Acasa to come clean within the next 24 hours lest face legal action.
In an Instagram Story on Sept. 27, the model and television host said they have their personal information like names, places of work, and school—even if they already deleted their videos.
"Many have messaged, trying to pass the blame on others," Wilson said, as she urged content creators to message on Instagram her rumored boyfriend Tim Connor the screenshots of their conversations with people behind the campaign.
"Once we receive it, we will decide whether to include you in our legal action through the criminal justice system," she said.
"We encourage you to present this within the next 24 hours."
Wilson on Sept. 26 shared screenshots of TikTok accounts that used a particular screenshot in their videos, as they aired supposed grievances over Acasa.
The screenshot bears the icon of her ex-husband businessman Victor Consunji's current partner Rachel Carrasco, who Wilson said had filed a cyber-libel case against Connor. She noted the case was already dismissed.
Wilson accused Carrasco of paying influencers to attack her.
"The timestamps on those screenshots were all the same," she said. "The script is the same."
Wilson also shared screenshots of alleged group chats containing an P8,000 offer for users with a huge following on social media. There's also an alleged script and photos to be used against her and Acasa.
Wilson also shared the apology videos of some of the content creators in question, supposedly admitting that what they previously said is false and that they're paid to do so.
Last Sept. 23, Wilson talked about an alleged theft in Acasa, and how an "ex" is supposedly attempting to bankrupt her.
Carrasco has yet to react to Wilson's pronouncements.
