K-pop idols HyunA and Dawn reportedly back together a few months after breakup

Did HyunA and Dawn rekindle their romance? 

The K-pop idols made the rounds online on Friday, Jan. 27 after reports claimed they got back together, saying that the two have been spotted in the same venues recently. 

“They were together on filming sets and even traveled overseas for schedules together, and took care of each other like they always used to,” an insider said, according to a report by Korean entertainment website Allkpop.

The same outlet also reported that HyunA left fire emojis on Dawn’s recent post on Instagram, which included a photo of himself accompanied with the caption: “New place, new music coming soon.” 

HyunA and Dawn started dating in 2016, but only confirmed their relationship in 2018. They got engaged in February 2022 and announced their breakup in November of the same year. 

Hyuna was previously part of the K-pop girl groups Wonder Girls and 4Minute while Dawn was a member of the boy group Pentagon. They were previously signed with Cube Entertainment until they left the agency and signed with P NATION in 2019. Since then, Hyuna and Dawn have been gaining recognition as soloists and as a unit. They released their first duo EP 1+1=1 with the title track Ping Pong.
