Former couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have come to a temporary agreement for custody of their two children through early 2024.

According to PEOPLE Magazine, the ex-lovers shared a joint statement on Tuesday, Oct. 11 following their decision.

"After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents," it read.

As stated in court documents obtained by the media outlet, the Game of Thrones star will take care of their kids from Oct. 9 through Oct. 21 and then return them to Jonas.

The co-parents will follow a rotating schedule, with their children being with Turner through Nov. 22, then Jonas through Dec. 16, and back to Turner until Jan. 7.

Before Dec. 23, the ex-couple "shall jointly submit a status report letter" outlining the mediation status between them.

Turner and Jonas in September reached a temporary agreement to keep their kids in New York City amid their divorce, noting that they must stay within its Southern or Eastern districts, which include Hudson Valley and Long Island.

Daily Mail reported that the court order was filed to protect the well-being of their kids and to "prevent the children's further removal or concealment before the final disposition of the petition."

Sophie and Joe confirmed their divorce on Sept. 9, calling it a "united decision."

The two got engaged in 2017 after being together for a year. They had two wedding ceremonies in 2019—one in Las Vegas in May and another one in France in June.
