Selena Gomez shared some adorable selfies with her BFF Taylor Swift on Saturday, Sept. 16 (Sept. 17, Manila time), just a few days after their reunion at the recently concluded MTV Video Music Awards.
"Thas my best frien -she a real bad," the Single Soon singer captioned her post, quoting a line from Saweetie's hit song Best Friend.
Social media users praised their unbreakable bond through the years in the comment section of the post.
"Taylena stans never lose," an Instagram user wrote.
"This pic just screamed the most successful, powerful, and iconic woman duo to ever exist," another one said.
Selena and Taylor formed a friendship in 2008, when they were dating celebrity brothers Nick and Joe Jonas, respectively.
"We actually dated the Jonas Brothers together! It was hysterical," Gomez told KISS FM UK in 2017.
"It was amazing, because [Taylor] was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots. And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked," she added.
"It was the best thing we got out of those relationships," she joked.
