Kylie Verzosa says she's still not on good terms with ex Jake Cuenca

Kylie Verzosa revealed that she’s still not on good terms with her ex-boyfriend Jake Cuenca, almost two years after their breakup.

Entertainment site PEP.ph reported that the Miss International 2016 titleholder was recently asked by media outlets whether she and Jake have been on friendly terms since their split. To which, she answered "no" without going into details.

She also said she's now "happy" with her new beau as she remained tight-lipped about the later's identity.

Kylie and Jake were in a relationship for three years before they called it quits in April 2022. The actor confirmed their breakup in a lengthy post on Instagram, saying that he was "still so proud" of the both of them as they "didn't want to break up in anger."

"We both wanted to be able to look back on our relationship with no bitterness no anger and no regrets, only the good memories," he said at the time.

Kylie also previously described her past romance with Jake as "something beautiful." 

"I wouldn't want to call it na 'It didn't work out,' no. Maybe it ended," she said in an interview with "King of Talk" Boy Abunda. "I hear from people na it's a failed relationship, na it didn't work out, pero hindi ko po siya kino-consider na ganoon." 

"We both learned from the relationship, we both benefited from the relationship. I think it's a good relationship. We became better people. I believe that who we are today is a contribution of that relationship," she continued. 

Over a year after their breakup, Kylie shared in an interview with ABS-CBN News that she’s in a relationship with someone outside showbiz.

"Yeah, I am dating someone. Non-showbiz. I am so happy. Honestly, I want to keep it private this time. It's a private relationship. And it is really, really peaceful," the Ikaw Lang Ang Mahal actress said. 

Jake, meanwhile, is now rumored to be dating actress Chie Filomeno.
