Kylie Verzosa reveals being in a 'private relationship' with non-showbiz beau
Kylie Verzosa is no longer on the dating market as the beauty queen just confirmed being in a "private relationship" with her non-showbiz partner.
The Miss International 2016 gave the latest update on her love life during an interview with ABS-CBN News at the 25th-anniversary celebration of acclaimed fashion designer Francis Libiran on Nov. 24.
In the report released by the outlet on Monday, Nov. 27, Kylie said that she's simply enjoying her relationship with her new beau, who is not a Filipino. She also highlighted how she prefers to keep it out of the public eye.
"Yeah, I am dating someone. Non-showbiz. I am so happy. Honestly, I want to keep it private this time. It's a private relationship. And it is really, really peaceful," the actress said.
Asked if she would soon post about their relationship on social media, Kylie said, "Siguro when I would want to show it. But for now, I am so happy."
The 31-year-old star is enjoying not only her "peaceful" love life but also the outpour of new projects, including the Metro Manila Film Fest-nominated movie Penduko which she headlines along with Matteo Guidicelli.
"I am Liway. I am basically Matteo's best friend, parang teammate. This is my second [MMFF]. This time, I have a big role. I am support to Matteo," Kylie said.
Apart from this, the model has been touring the world as an endorser of brands outside the Philippines.
"I just got back from Singapore, brands keep on getting me from there, or like in Thailand, and in Dubai also, so parang there are more work opportunities for me abroad and I just take it," she said.
Kylie shared that she's been loving the experience especially because of the lessons and friends she earns from it.
The beauty queen explained, "When I travel I get to parang the world widens for me and I see there is so much more opportunities out there and so much learnings. I learn so much, I meet new friends, I learn from the people, it widens your scope, it makes you wiser, it makes you smarter, so much more inputs. I love it," she stated.
Prior to all these, Kylie was in a relationship with Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca whom she worked with in the 2017 film Ang Panday. They were together for three years before calling it quits in April 2022.
Jake, on the other hand, has been rumored to be dating Chie Filomeno who, in a media conference last August, admitted admiring the actor for being a "gentleman" respecting her decisions but also clarified that they are still taking their time with regards to their relationship.
