LOOK: Darren Espanto meets Suho of K-pop group EXO
Darren Espanto got to meet EXO's Suho backstage during a recently held festival in the Philippines.
The Pinoy singer shared a photo with the K-pop idol in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Their snap was taken at the ON Festival OFF: Manila that took place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City earlier this month.
The music festival marked a celebration of Filipino and Korean music with Korean acts Suho, Seori, as well as indie bands Wave to Earth and Melomance. Among the Pinoy acts who performed at the concert were Darren, Adie, Moira Dela Torre, and Ben&Ben.
Suho entertained the audience with his performances of Let's Love, Grey Suit, Self-Portrait, and a fun EXO medley, among others. He also told the Pinoy crowd that EXO will come back to the Philippines "as soon as possible."
Suho is set to return to the country in December for the 2023 Asia Artist Awards.
Aside from being a member of EXO, which debuted in 2012, the K-pop star also has two solo albums: Self-Portrait (2020) and Grey Suit (2022).
Suho has also starred in K-dramas and movies such as One Way Trip (2016), The Universe's Star (2017), Rich Man (2018), Middle School Girl A (2018), and How Are U Bread (2020).
