EXO's Suho to visit the Philippines for 2023 Asia Artist Awards
EXO’s Suho will be returning to the Philippines for the 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAA).
Star News Korea announced on Sept. 20 that Suho, the group's lead vocalist, has confirmed his attendance at the much-awaited awards show to be held on Dec. 14.
He will join the likes of NewJeans, Stray Kids, and ITZY at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
On September 18, it was announced that the Seventeen subunit BSS, Filipino global groups SB19 and HORI7ON, and the K-pop groups Oneus, Kingdom, ATBO, and LUN8 will also attend the 2023 AAA.
Other K-pop groups and idols that have confirmed their attendance include Le Sserafim, NMIXX, BOYNEXTDOOR, Zerobaseone, THE BOYZ, Eunbi Kwon, and &TEAM, Kim Jae Joong, Dindin, Lee Youngil, Dreamcatcher, KARD, Ash Island, YAOCHEN, STAYC, Kep1er, TEMPEST, and Lapillus.
This will be the first time that the AAA will be held in the Philippines. In the past, it has been held in South Korea, Japan, and Vietnam.
Suho is one of the most popular idols. He has released two solo albums, Self-Portrait (2020) and Grey Suit (2022).
Aside from singing, he also acts and has starred in K-dramas and movies such as One Way Trip (2016), The Universe's Star (2017), Rich Man (2018), Middle School Girl A (2018), and How Are U Bread (2020).
Suho is also set to visit the Philippines for the ON Music Festival, which will be held on Nov. 3 in Manila at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
