Kylie Jenner says she won't allow her kids to be on social media 'until they move out'
Kylie Jenner talked about a strict parenting rule that she applies to her kids when it comes to using the internet.
In an interview with fashion magazine Elle, the media personality and socialite shared that she's trying her hardest to protect her children—daughter Stormi, 6, and son Aire, 2—from the "worst of social media."
"When I do share my children, I want it to come from me or their father," Kylie said, referring to her ex-boyfriend Travis Scott.
"It’s no socials for as long as possible. Stormi will come home and she’ll know full TikTok dances. I’m like, 'Where did you learn this?'" she continued.
Kylie joked that she hopes her kids could stay off social media "until they move out of the house."
Elsewhere in the interview, the Kardashians star opened up about what it was like to be a young mom back when she first gave birth to Stormi at just 19 years old.
"Having a baby really young was more shocking, maybe, because I saw these changes happening to my body—all these new stretch marks and things that I didn’t have before," Kylie said.
She also felt like she was "on autopilot" when she suffered postpartum depression, but she was able to get much-needed support during those difficult moments from her mom friends and her sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé.
"I haven’t had a baby in a few years. The first part of my twenties was having children, learning what my personal style was and then losing it—not knowing how to dress, gaining 60 pounds for both pregnancies. It took me a year to feel like myself again," Kylie admitted.
"At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever," she assured.
Kylie had been in an on-and-off relationship with Travis until they ultimately split in January 2023. She has since been in a relationship with actor Timothée Chalamet. The two first sparked dating rumors in April 2023 after they were spotted hanging out on multiple occasions. They were later spotted getting cozy and sharing a kiss at Golden Globes 2024.
