Park Bo Gum suffers minor injury filming ‘Good Boy’
Park Bo Gum sustained a minor injury while filming an action scene for his upcoming drama Good Boy.
JoyNews24 reported on Wednesday that Bo Gum was transferred to a hospital in Seoul after he injured his leg while shooting an action scene in Busan.
His agency THEBLACKLABEL said that while filming has been temporarily halted, "it is expected to resume as soon as he recovers.”
Good Boy tells the story of former Olympic medalists who become police officers, determined to expose the corruption and wrongdoing prevalent in their society.
Bo Gum plays the role of Yoon Dong Joo, a former gold medalist boxer turned rookie officer.
This comedic investigation drama also includes Kim So-hyun, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-yi, Heo Sung-tae and Tae Won-seok.
It is slated to premiere in the second half of 2024.
Bo Gum debuted as an actor in 2011 and has appeared in shows and films such as Blind, Runway Cop, Wonderful Mama, and more.
He pursued a Master's degree in New Media Music at Sang Myung University after completing his military service in 2022. Bo Gum then returned to acting, starring in the dramas My Name Is Gabriel and film Wonderland.
