David Licauco responds to comments saying he's 'masungit' after video with fan goes viral
David Licauco had a chill response to social users who were calling him "masungit" after a video of him taking pictures with fans went viral.
On April 22, one TikTok user shared their encounter with the Maria Clara at Ibarra actor in which they asked for a photo right before David entered his car. The actor appeared tired and not as enthusiastic.
"David Licauco super bait sa fans," the original poster captioned on TikTok.

Some users in the comments section and on X (formerly Twitter) found the actor "masungit" in the video.
"Singit yarn? Galing umacting? May blockbuster?" one X user said.
"Ala pa napatunayan [may] attitude na," another said.
David took to X to react and explain what happened during the moment.
"May sakit ako niyan beh tapos 1 [a.m.] na 'yan," the actor replied. "Hehe sorry po[.] Bawi ako next time ha[?] 🥹😘😄"
Other users on social media also defended David, saying that fans shouldn't feel entitled when it comes to their favorite artists as these celebrities "don't owe" them anything.
"Obviously, pagod yung tao, wala sa mood. Halata naman sa mata. Buti nga nagpa-picture pa e," one user said.
"You literally just met him by chance, 'di naman obligado lagi na pasiyahin kayo. It's not even a proper event or fanmeeting," another wrote.
David recently shared that he is scheduled for an operation later in April for sleep apnea, which causes him to stop breathing while sleeping.
The actor has been dealing with the condition for 12 years and is finally undergoing a minimally invasive surgery on April 30.
