Sarah Geronimo is making the rounds on social media after finally hoping on the dance craze featuring her popular cover of Maybe This Time.
During the grand opening of the 2024 Tuna Festival at General Santos City last weekend, the popstar royalty performed the hit ballad alongside other dance breaks such as Dati-Dati, Alam, and Tala.
She then requested the technical team to repeat the bridge of Maybe This Time as she noticed that the crowd was expecting her to take on the viral dance challenge.
"Sir, balik mo nga po sa bridge part, gusto ko tumayo kayo lahat," the singer said. Her husband, actor Matteo Guidicelli, even joined in the fun.

The Maybe This Time dance craze began when a TikTok user posted a video of him pulling off some playful and snappy dance moves to the song’s bridge. The video has garnered millions of views since it was posted in late July.
Other social media users started posting their own versions of the dance on their respective pages and continue to do so to this day, including celebrities like actress Ysabel Ortega, actor Dennis Trillo, Stell Ajero of SB19, Sheena Catacutan of BINI, and two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.
Maybe This Time was originally performed by American country singer-songwriter Michael Martin Murphey in 1983 as part of his album The Heart Never Lies.
Geronimo released her own take on the track for her film Maybe This Time, where she starred alongside Coco Martin, in 2014. The romantic comedy offering directed by Jerry Lopez follows the story of two exes who meet again years after ending their relationship without closure.
