BLACKPINK's Jisoo to have solo debut in 2023 • PhilSTAR Life

Good news, Jisoo fans!

After a long wait, the K-pop idol will finally have her solo debut this 2023.

YG Entertainment confirmed the news on Jan. 2, according to a report by Korean entertainment site Soompi.

“BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is currently working hard on recording her solo album," the agency began.

"While carrying out a busy world tour schedule since last year, she finished the album jacket photo shoot and worked on music production whenever she got the time in order to keep the promise with fans. She will greet [fans] soon with good news," they added.

Jisoo made her acting debut in 2021 by starring in the television series Snowdrop with Jung Hae-in.

She is the last member to have her solo debut following Jennie with the album SOLO, Rosé with album R, and Lisa with the album LALISA.
