Lee Jong Suk to establish own production company, plans to sign with new agency
Lee Jong Suk is set to wear a new hat as he will launch his own production company in 2024, while continuing his acting career in a new agency.
According to Soompi, a local media outlet first reported that the Big Mouth star is currently in talks to sign with a new agency, Ace Factory—home of K-drama stars like Han Hye Jin of classic series Jumong, Ha Jun from Netflix’s Destined With You, and The Glory star Yeom Hye Ran.
A source from Ace Factory confirmed the news, adding that they are also working on a collaboration as the K-drama star will also launch his own production company.
“Lee Jong Suk is preparing to establish a production company, and he is in talks with ACE FACTORY to collaborate on production and sign an exclusive management contract,” they wrote, as translated by Soompi.
This comes a month after the expiration of his “strategic partnership” with HighZium Studio.
Lee Jong Suk made his acting debut in the 2010 series Prosecutor Princess, and he landed his breakthrough role in the drama series School 2013 with Kim Woo Bin and Jang Na Ra among the lead cast.
He is also better known for his roles in W, While You Were Sleeping, Pinocchio, and Big Mouth where he earned a Daesang (Grand Prize) at the MBC Drama Awards in 2022.
