Kylie Jenner breaks down over ‘mean’ comments about how she ‘f—ked up’ her face
Kylie Jenner cried as she bared how she feels about the negative comments she’s been getting in line with her appearance.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, the reality show star told her sister Kendall that it’s a “miracle” she still has confidence and that she “can look in the mirror and still think [she’s] pretty.”
She opened up about the negative remarks she got following her Paris Fashion Week appearance in September last year. “I’m wearing too much makeup and it’s like, ‘You’re wearing too much makeup.’ Then I go and I don’t wear a lot of makeup and someone catches me in a weird light,” she said.
“I just hear nasty things about myself all the time,” she continued, pointing out how it could get “exhausting.”
Kylie shared that she went on a journey “dissolving half of [her] lip filler” in 2023.
“I hate even having this conversation over and over and over again. It feels like it’s a waste of my breath because I think, with me, it is never going to change,” she said.
Kendall hugged Kylie to comfort her.
Kylie confessed that while she “never cried” about the matter in the past, she realized that it still affects her after all.
“I’ll see some comments or someone will be like, ‘This is really mean’ and defend me. ‘Why are we talking about her looks? It’s 2024’ And then I’ll see other comments like, ‘Because she did it to herself. She f—ked up her face. She had so much surgery,’” she shared.
Kylie, however, said that she knows she was “put in this position for a reason.” She confessed, “I do think of myself as a confident person, but I’m also human and there’s only so much someone can take.”
The Kylie Cosmetics founder went on to say she cannot let the negative remarks bring her down at the end of the day. “I’ve got s—t to do,” she continued.
Kylie first got temporary lip fillers in 2015, saying that her small lips made her feel insecure about herself. She opened up about it again in the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reunion in 2021, sharing that it sparked her love for makeup.
In July 2023, she denied rumors she got surgery “on her whole face” as she noted she has “always loved herself.” She, however, admitted to undergoing breast augmentation surgery at the age of 19 in 2017—the year before she gave birth to her daughter Stormi.
