Alden Richards hopes to marry by 35, but still waiting for the one
At 31 years old, Alden Richards has already established himself as a successful actor, recording artist, entrepreneur, and more, but many are still wondering why he hasn't found someone to warm up his heart. According to him, however, he is hoping to find his soulmate by age 35.
In an interview with talent manager Ogie Diaz on his YouTube channel, Alden's relationship status was brought up during their discussion. Ogie pointed out how many of the actor's fans still try to question him about his "missing" love life.
Asked about whether he secretly has a girlfriend, Alden said, "Wala talaga, Mama Ogs, sa ngayon."
He then clarified that it isn't because he hasn't made it his priority, but that there were obstacles that came to him that made it difficult to find a relationship.
Kapag pinipilit ko, for some reason, one way or another nagkakaroon ng casualty. Parang one way or another, meron at merong nagiging issue," Alden said.
He continued, "Ang akin naman po doon, siguro na-realize ko na the more siyang pinipilit, the more siyang nawawala. Parang buhangin po eh. The more kang kumakapit sa buhangin, lalong kumakawala sa kamay mo."
Despite this, settling down and starting a family is still one of his wishes, adding that he dreams of having his own bundle of joy to love and care for.
He highlighted that he wants to have a complete family as much as possible, "Gusto ko po may asawa.
But his youthful appearance aside, Alden isn't getting any younger soon, so when is he planning to exchange vows with the love of his life? According to him, "Dapat by 35 kasal na ako.
Ogie then inquired Alden about what he feels when he is heckled by others on his gender identity due to lacking a girlfriend, to which he said that he simply lets all the ridicules go from one ear and out the other.
"Nasanay na lang din po ako kasi siguro it’s really how I see myself.
Some of the celebrities who have been linked to the Kapuso heartthrob in the past include Sam Pinto, Kathryn Bernardo, Julie Anne San Jose, Maine Mendoza, Winwyn Marquez, and Louise delos Reyes.
