LOOK: Xian Lim takes first flight as student pilot
Xian Lim soared to new heights as he took his first solo flight as a student pilot.
On Instagram, the actor shared photos of him receiving his epaulette. He was also seen getting drenched with water, a common tradition among student pilots that marks the end of their training.
“[E]arned my epaulette today. I can't wait to show you all the footage. For now, sharing with you a little tradition after the first solo flight!” his caption read.
He followed this post with a reel, including clips of him checking his plane outside the hangar and his first solo flight.
Xian began his aviation studies in September with Topflite Aviation Academy. Last month, he posted a video of his flight accompanied by his flight instructor.
“First time in the pilot’s seat! Nothing compares to the thrill of taking flight and seeing the world from above. Here’s to new heights and unforgettable views! #FirstFlight @topfliteacademy” the caption read.
The actor recently starred in the romance fantasy series Love. Die. Repeat. alongside Jennylyn Mercado. He also directed the horror film Kuman Thong, produced by his girlfriend Iris Lee.
