LOOK: Jennifer Aniston reveals past pregnancy plans, feeling her best at 53 in daring Allure cover

“I feel the best in who I am today, better than I ever did in my 20s or 30s even, or my mid-40s."

Only a few actors have stood the test of time in Hollywood. And from her iconic role as the insecure Rachel Green in Friends to a now strong and secure fifty-something, Jennifer Aniston is the timeless embodiment of looking and feeling your best.

The 53-year-old star recently graced the cover of Allure magazine and rocked the internet with her daring looks.

On the cover, Jennifer wears the iconic Chanel micro "nipplekini" which, like her, has spanned years and stills looks as modern as ever. In the cover story, Aniston opens up about living in the spotlight and how life truly starts at fifty.

"I would say my late 30s, 40s, I’d gone through really hard shit, and if it wasn’t for going through that, I would’ve never become who I was meant to be," she shared with Allure's Danielle Pergament. "That’s why I have such gratitude for all those sh--ty things."

She went on to share that she had tried to get pregnant during her younger years.

"I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it," she said. "I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it.

"So here I am today. The ship has sailed."

Despite the numerous tabloids speculating on her plans as a mother, the answer was simple for Aniston: She wanted to focus on her career.

"I just cared about my career. And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child," she added. "And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid.

"It was absolute lies. I don’t have anything to hide at this point."

Although Aniston did not get to fulfill that certain life path, she has "zero regrets" over the woman she's become, saying that she feels at her best at 53.

"I feel the best in who I am today, better than I ever did in my 20s or 30s even, or my mid-40s. We needed to stop saying bad shit to ourselves,” she revealed.

"You’re going to be 65 one day and think, I looked fucking great at 53"—and indeed, her Allure cover proves just that.
