LOOK: Sofia Andres shares glimpse of Japandi-inspired dream house
Sofia Andres is close to having the house of her dreams.
In a series of Instagram posts, the actress gave a first look at her house, which is currently under construction and is 86% done. “Turning my simple dreams into reality,” she captioned one of her photos.
“My dream house is finally taking shape,” she wrote.
As seen in the snaps she shared, her soon-to-be-completed abode makes use of a neutral palette. It’s mostly painted in white, but it also has black and brown elements on the roof and its windows.
In another IG post, she described it as “Sleek simplicity meets harmonious fusion, the Scandinavian-Japandi-style haven.”
According to Architectural Digest, Scandinavian design puts the focus on simplicity and coziness through light and open spaces. Japandi, meanwhile, combines it with Japanese design that’s known for minimalism. Interior designer Shanty Wijaya told the outlet that both home aesthetics are focused on four things: simplicity, natural elements, comfort, and stability.
